Here's a picture of my parents and me at my Ph.D. graduation-ceremony:
(My father hooded me in the ceremony.)
Here's a picture of my youngest sister Amy riding her horse Orteefa:
to see the Web-site of the place where the horse is stabled.)
My middle sister
Lettie
has a
Web-site.
My brother-in-law, who is married to my oldest sister, is in the Air Force,
and he's always stationed around the world,
so
it's hard to
see them and their family let alone
get all my family together in one picture. But here at least
is
a picture
from a little before Christmas 1997
of
my oldest sister's family with my parents and me.
In
the top row from left to right are my brother-in-law Thom,
my oldest niece Miraj, and me; in the bottom row from left to right are
my youngest niece Maya, my mother, my nephew Joshua, my father, my
oldest sister DeRose, and my middle niece Jasmine:
Next, from Christmas 1997, here are in the top row from left to right
my mother, my youngest sister Amy, my father, and me, and
in the bottom row from left to right my brother James and my middle
sister Lettie (not to mention our family's dog at the time, Portia;
but about her,
see also below):
(Portia, our family's dog at that time, was very joyful; but I'm sad to
say that she has died.)
Here is
the
McGuire Family emblem:
a knight in shining armor holding aloft a sword,
riding a white horse on a bright green field:
My wife
is Christina Gray.
Here are pictures of Christina in Hawaii scooping molten lava with a tablespoon!
Here are pictures from a surprise birthday-party Christina threw for me.
First,
here are
me and Christina:
Next, from left to right,
here are
Fred,
Nathan, me,
Joey, Pete, Grace, Hieu, Aileen, Hong, Dave, Lisa, and Van:
And here are me and Fred (again):
I had no idea about the plan, so I was still discussing work with someone
when I was expected at the party; it really was a complete surprise.
Christina got my favorite foods: carrot cake, pizza,
different cookies,
carrot-sticks, ...
And of course she arranged for all the friends to attend,
which was the nicest part.
It was wonderful! (8+)
Here's a picture of Christina and me camping high in the Sierra Nevada mountains:
Here are pictures of Christina playing `in' molten lava again -- tsk,
tsk
(;+)

at Hawaii:
Oh Christina!
