I evaluated the usability of the new online library and associated development

- co PI with Deb Knox, The College of New Jersey and Ed Fox, Virginia Tech
to develop an online repository of reusable teaching resources for computer
science educators. I served as Associate Editor of the Computer Science
Teaching Center (March 1998 -February 2000).
NSF Special Project Supplemental Award (DUE-9816443), $283,000
- co PI with Deb Knox, The College of New Jersey and Scott Owen, Georgia
State to perform digital library research on NSF funded education repositories
(September 1998 - August 2000).
Principal Investigator, NSF Instrumentation and Laboratory Improvement Award, $14,000
- includes mandatory UIS matching funds to purchase computing equipment
for a Human-Computer Interaction Laboratory for undergraduate education
(March 1998 - February 2000).
Principal Investigator, Univeristy of Illinois Learning Technologies in Higher Education Program,
$6,000 to develop the Visualization Resource Center for Computer Science
Education. The peer-reviewed site encourages the use of visualization to
teach computer science. Faculty from around the country are involved in
